Privacy Policy

01The short version

We collect what we need to sell you a pouch, deliver it, and look after you afterwards. We do not sell your personal information, we do not ask for health information, and every marketing email we ever send has an unsubscribe link that works. The rest of this page is the detail.

02Who we are and what this covers

This policy explains how Ascension Health Circle Pty Ltd, trading as OLEVATE ("we", "us", "our"), handles personal information in connection with olevate.com, our products and our communications. We are bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles, and this policy is written to comply with them.

03What we collect

Details you give us. Your name, email address, phone number, and shipping and billing address when you order or create an account; your subscription preferences; your messages when you contact support or use the contact form; and any review you choose to submit.

Order and payment details. What you bought and when. Payments are processed by our payment providers at checkout; we receive confirmation of payment but we do not see or store your full card number.

Details collected automatically. Device and usage information such as IP address, browser type, pages viewed and general location, collected through cookies and similar technologies described in section 07.

04What we deliberately do not collect

We sell a food, not a health service, so we do not ask for and do not want health information. Our order process contains no health questionnaires. If you volunteer information of that kind in a message to support, we use it only to respond to you and do not add it to any marketing profile.

05How we use your information

To process and deliver your orders; to run your subscription, including billing on your chosen cycle and giving you control to pause, skip, swap or cancel; to answer your questions and administer the Empty Pouch Guarantee; to improve the site and our products; to detect and prevent fraud; to meet our legal obligations, including tax record-keeping; and, with your consent or where the law otherwise permits, to send you marketing described in section 06.

06Marketing, on your terms

We send marketing emails only if you opt in, or if you are an existing customer and the law permits it. Every message includes a working unsubscribe link, and opting out takes effect promptly. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone, and unsubscribing never affects your orders or your subscription.

07Cookies and analytics

We use essential cookies to make the site and cart work, analytics tools such as Google Analytics to understand how the site is used, and advertising tools such as the Meta pixel to measure our advertising and reach people who may be interested in OLEVATE. These tools may set their own cookies and collect device identifiers.

You can control cookies through your browser settings, and you can opt out of personalised advertising through the settings offered by Google and Meta. Blocking essential cookies may stop parts of the site, such as the cart, from working.

08Who we share information with

Service providers who help us run OLEVATE: our e-commerce platform (Shopify), payment processors, delivery carriers, our email and customer-support tools, our review platform, and our analytics and advertising providers. Each receives only what it needs to do its job.

We may also share information with our professional advisers, and where the law requires or permits it, such as responding to a lawful request by a regulator or to protect our legal rights. We never sell your personal information.

09Overseas disclosure

Some of our providers, including Shopify, Google and Meta, store or process information on servers located overseas, including in the United States and other countries in which they operate. Where information leaves Australia, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with the Australian Privacy Principles.

10How we protect it

Information is encrypted in transit, access is limited to people who need it, and we use reputable providers with their own security programs. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we treat your information the way we treat our label: carefully, and with nothing hidden.

11How long we keep it

We keep personal information for as long as we need it for the purposes above, and for as long as the law requires, such as retaining transaction records for tax purposes. After that, we delete it or de-identify it.

12Access, correction and deletion

You can ask us for a copy of the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where we are not legally required to keep it. Email support@olevate.com and we will respond within a reasonable time, normally within 30 days, at no charge for a straightforward request.

13Complaints

If you believe we have mishandled your personal information, contact us first at support@olevate.com and we will investigate and respond. If you are not satisfied with our response, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.

14Children

This site is not directed at children, our products are not suitable for children under 15 years of age, and you must be 18 or over to purchase. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children, and we will delete any we discover.

15Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page with its date, and material changes will be highlighted or notified to account holders by email.
